Fortify "Magic" + Magicka Regeneration Enchanting bu

Sorry if this question has been asked numerous times. But did bethesda intend on only being able to MAX enchant +10% magicka regeneration when done so with the Fortify "Magic" + Magicka Regeneration enchant (I suppose that's not to confusing)? For example the Novice robes of destruction has stats of 12% fortify destruction and 100% magicka Regeneration if I recall correctly.... But even at maxed enchanting and alchemey potions, the character can only get +10% magicka regeneration when done so with the fortify "magic" enchant.... However, I was thinking last night why it could possibly be intentional... Maybe because once the player can enchant items with two enchants, then they can use the magic reneration on top of the combo enchant. Not sure if thats why, but just a thought and some curiosity on my part. Then again I still dont think max magic regeneration enchant alone is really that much. Sorry if it was a tad confusing....

I think it's an oversight :(
Made me sad too...

Semi-useful for early level battlemages though - you can disenchant any school of Magick + Regen, then use a petty soul gem to get +10% regen on your armour piece. Better than most stuff early on!

You need the 100 level dual enchanting perk to put decent Fortify & Regen enchants on your clothes. I think it's how it's meant to be - some master enchanter had made all the college robes.

When you have an enchanting effect that combines two other effects, the first effect will be variable and the second will be a fixed value. So the +Spell School/+Magicka Regen enchant has the regen fixed at 10%; the Fiery Soul enchant (Soul Trap/Fire Damage) has the fire damage fixed at 10 points; if you disenchant the Shield of Solitude (+Block/+Magic Resist), the magic resistance is fixed at 10%.

Yeah the Fortify & Regen enchant really shouldn't exist, the apprentice robes of whatever are actually just double enchanted robes, or should be.
