I read somewhere that you can soultrap a body after it has died, so Im soul trapping a dead master vampire just now, and my conjuration is increasing as normal, Combat mode is over, is this a glitch? Surely I can just get to 100 this way...

Meh, conjuration was always easy to power-level, if you just kept summoning minions. This might just be another way.
