Any word on when all the quests bugs will be fixed?

Greetings all. Newb to the forums here, but I love the games Bethesda puts out...for the most part. Loving Skyrim. Wanted to know if there's any word on when the devs are going to fix all the bugs that are preventing me from completing some of the quests I have. I'm getting deeper into the game and I'm finding more and more missions are unable to be completed due to some bug. For example I can no longer complete the Thieves Guild mission "Under New Management" because I've already completed all the "City Influence" missions. I enjoy Skyrim, I can put up with the crashes, and I don't mind the delay of Dawnguard, but being unable to complete missions because of a bug is totally unacceptable.

I'm sorry to tell you this but PS3 suppport is on the verge of stopping so don't get your hopes up. Welcome to the forums.

Hi there,

The cause of people not being able to complete some (or many) quests is the way the quest system in the game works. If you for instance pick up a quest item while clearing a dungeon, before you have started the actual quest, this may result in the quest breaking as the game does not recognize this item in your inventory when you finally start the quest, and as you're not able to drop the item, it being a quest item, you can't drop it and re-pick it up either. The order you do certain quests or actions during a quest therefore has the ability to break that quests or even other quests, as you have experienced.

As far as I know there is no word out about this ever going to be fixed, and I don't think there ever will be. Some quest bugs may get a fix, but most won't unfortunately. Reverting to an earlier save is your best hope i guess. Otherwise starting a new game...
