off-topic: EA say no to singleplayer only games

Post » Fri Sep 07, 2012 12:42 pm

An unnecessary multiplayer in ME3, always online to play simcity 2013 and the next C&C wont have singleplayer.
EA is achieving the impossible, ruining all the great franchises.

Fortunately, EA is not the only game company out there. Otherwise, I would give up gaming.

Yeah, it svcks. Just don't get their games unless it's a really good game. While it would have been fine without it, I think ME3's multiplayer was fine, and actually pretty fun.
Giving you a heads up, the mods might shut this tread down for being off topic.

They will just move it so everyone can see it. ME3's multiplayer was fine...except for the part that it gives bonuses to the singleplayer or stuff like that. I haven't looked into the whole thing myself but I don't think I need to tell you why that statement is stupid. Some people enjoy narrative (me), others enjoy competitive gaming (also me but to a lesser extend). Why force one over the other? Spec Ops: The Line had that and the devs came out and said that it svcked and was forced and I agree. Companies think that 6-7 hours singleplayer experiences with not much replayability won't sell unless they have a tacked on multiplayer and that's why they make devs do these things.

This svcks.
Now I'm going to have to boycott EA on moral grounds.

It's ok, I can wait a while to play Dead Space 3 (I mean a while after its release).
