Interesting.

While searching the actual percentage of how much Providence Equity Partners owns out of the minority stake.I stumbled across a document regarding that, the answer turned out to be 25%.I need that answer so i could put it on the ZeniMax Wikipedia page(witch i already did).

Another interesting thing i found is that ZeniMax is reportedly valued at about $ 1.2 billion.I personally thought i would $3 Billion, but whatever.

I am posting this information here since it can,t be found anywhere else on internet, witch i double checked trough Google.

BTW you need to scroll down if you want to read the information.Should be on Page 4.I doesn,t allow me to copy and paste.I tried to download the file but can,t since you need to pay and have an account on docstoc.com.

Doesn't seem to be as high as I would have thought. Then again, perhaps it's for the best. If they were worth a lot more, they'd probably be resorting to scummy tactics. I haven't seen too much influence of Zenimax in the games I see their names on on the box, so props to them for being worth that much and not impacting my game experience.

So the cost of making and promoting Skyrim was 7% of the value of the whole shebang as it stands now. That's a hefty gamble. How much will they stake on Fallout 4, I wonder.

Probably not as much. I just don't think you can "sell" Fallout to as large an audience.

The report you linked was dated from five years ago, back in 2007, prior to the release of Fallout 3 and prior to Zenimax's acquisition of id Software, Tango Gameworks, Machine Games and Arkane Studios.

Slap on a "From the developers of Skyrim..." to the F4 box, you're set.

(Although please refrain from writing that on the PS3 version of the box)

Eh. I think they just about made their money back on non-Bethesda Game Studio(s?) games. It depends, but that likely affects their value a bit negatively. But then you have Bethesda Game Studio(s?), so ... I'd say Zenimax is worth some more but probably not by a huge jump.

No, still private.
