I just had a really big urge to have a dragonbone sword replica... but i doubt they make them. Does anyone know where you can have swords custom made?

You can have one made by a few swordsmiths, but it'll cost you. Furthermore, please note that most, if not all of the weapons in Skyrim are purely 'fantasy weapons', meaning that in RL, a twelve year old with a butter knife would do more damage with the butterknife then you would with one of those weapons. To that end, it'll just be a wall-hanger, not something that you can run around cutting things with, expect it to be made out of cheap, stainless steel.

Thats exactly what i had in mind, I wouldnt ever try to cut anything with it. just hold it and look at it.

Well, I know these guys once made custom swords at one point, but what you want might be a little too... un-asian for what they normally do.

Beyond that, just try and look around and get into contact with some swordsmiths, I'm sure you can work out a deal with one.

You've got a couple of options:

1. A local Blacksmith can probably be convinced to do the work in exchange for sufficient amounts of money. That's probably going to be a bargaining affair. Some peeps advertise commission services online. Try googling "commission sword," "order custom sword," or some other set of key words. I can't say I've ever commissioned a sword, so I can't recommend anyone to do the work.

2. You can make one yourself, using the techniques hobbyists and cosplayers use to make their props (without resorting to metalworking). Given that the "Dragonbone weapons" in skyrim don't use metal blades, but dragon bone, this option may result in a more "aesthetically accurate" weapon than what a swordsmith might be inclined to produce.

Hmm ill have to do some research on making my own.

or you can make the replica yourself with card board and spray on clear lacquer and a surgical knife, paint, newspaper and glue.
