I need a new game to play...

Post » Sun Sep 09, 2012 12:03 am

So, having just finished Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I need a new game to play. It's not until October that any games I am interested in come out, so what can I play until then? I have a few PC games (such as Left 4 Dead, Oblivion, Terraria and Mount & Blade), but they don't run fantastic and most of the mods for them are awful.

Why do people make these posts? Just research and try demos to see what you might like.

Without giving us anything else to go on, I recommend Googling 'games'.

Get Mount & Blade: Warband. You're welcome :)

No need, I already have the perfect solution. Given how the OP's PC has problems running Mount and Blade and Oblivion, the Witcher games aren't an option. So, the obvious choice left is to get Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.

Are you looking for a more epic answer than, "post count +1" or "too lazy?" :teehee:

@OP: You really need to list more specifically what you're looking for... A single-player game? Multi-player? RPG? Shooter? Action? Mario?

I suggest you pick up Dark Souls, (or demon's souls if you have a PS3.)

Didn't you make a thread like this like, a month ago?

Anyway, not many games out there that seem so amazing to get interested in. At least, not for me. I'm rather picky with games. :P

What do your interests include?

Try Civilization IV. I haven't played the fifth title in the Civilization series, so I can't really recommend it or not yet. But if you trust any of the reviews out there, go ahead and pick that one up.

Nope. And how the hell do you remember my thread history?

Duke Nukem Forever.
That's not funny.

I've heard how difficult that game is. I will just rage way too easy.

I don't have PC problems. Just it isn't a gaming PC, so it only runs slightly older games such as Mount & Blade and Oblivion (even them not too great). Plus, I don't like Witcher 2.

I played the Sims 2 so much. Never played Sims 3, but my laptop can't run it and it isn't nowhere near as good on consoles. Besides, sim games get boring - fast. Torchlight, no thanks. Baldur's gate, no thanks. Stalker, I'm sick of FPS games. Minecraft, love it, but I can only play so much of it on my 360. It won't run on my laptop so don't suggest mods.
