A valenwood DLC.

Would a valenwood dlc be a good idea for skyrim?

With all the references to a second thalmor war in skyrim, there could be a dlc in valenwood, the player would help overthrow the thalmor and estabilish valenwood as a imperial province again in a guerrilla war, this would be the prologue for the grand war in TES VI.

The reasons i think this would be good are:

*Such a dlc would benefit greatly of the awesome graphics of skyrim, the forests of valenwood would be stunning
*The "alien" feel, last experienced in morrowind would come back with the different trees, beasts, etc
*New enemies, something skyrim could use a lot
*More light armor sets

What do you guys think?

I think Valenwood would need it's own full game to do it justice. Cities build atop giant migrating trees? Imagine trying to work something like that into a smallish DLC.

Sure it would be an awesome DLC but is it likely? I doubt it.

Why would they include a whole separate province in DLC format. They would be better off releasing such a thing in a stand alone game as they have throughout the series.

valenwood or summerset isle actually seems like a likely setting for the next game if the thalmor arent dealt with in a dlc. best to save valenwood for that.

Not the whole province, something like tribunal or bloodmoon from morrowind, and it would be possible now that beth is taking their time on the dlcs,no?

I want Valenwood to be in its own game. I also think that each Province should be included into its own game.

Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim each have their own games. Now they need to make a game set in Valenwood, Summerset Isle, Black Marsh, Elsweyr, etc.

I don't like the ideas of DLC's of whole separate provinces, which probably should have it's own separate game in the future. I would rather leave valenwood to it's own game.

And I still want atmora.

I'd retake it as part of Skyrim bro. Under the Stormcloak Empire.

It should be added in a dlc, making a whole new game about it would ruin it because your choices from Skyrim wouldn't have any impact on what you'd be doing in Valenwood. And Bethesda can pull this off.

As much as I'd love wandering in a dense forest [why on earth Skyrim completely lacks them?], Valenwood definitely deserves its own game.
