What's the best fighting styleweapon for this character?

I'm planning on making a character that majors in Conjuration and enchanting. He will travel with a small army of two dead thralls and a follower. And each of them has enchanted weapons and a staff of summoning. (I know it is op so we don't need to mention that anymore). I can't decide on the attacking skill for this character though. I want to make sure he doesn't get in the way of his helpers. So destruction is out of the question. Two-handed probably is too. Let me know your opinion. It is probably between archery and one-handed. Dual wield or shield?

Are you going to need to block attacks rolling deep like that? I'd go bow unless you really want to get hit......

True, this character probably won't need to fight at all, but I still want to keep it interesting. He wants to lead his army like a general on the front lines. Somehow a sword seams more appropriate than a bow. Not sure though.

Could depend on your thralls too. If you got a couple mage types then melee for your char could work pretty well...otherwise it'd get too crowded and they'd get smacked a lot I would think

Maybe you shouldn't rely on combat at all? Use Illusion and Alteration and let your thralls/summons do the fighting. Otherwise, I'd say bow.
