Hello! My first post on this wonderful forum. And I'm not entirely sure I this topic has already been covered BUT:

I am in a unique predicament.. I'm sure a lot of you have had the same thing happen in skyrim or fallout before and I'd like to bring it to the dev's attention as a possible update for skyrim.

The predicament being, I somehow managed to LOSE my Sigil Stone! I had it for quite some time and didn't realize the importance of it. And now with it being MIA I cannot use the atronach forge and am unable to participate in it at all now.

What I'm requesting is a patch to be able to re-attain unique items like that by asking the NPC that granted it for another! I wouldn't mind repeating the quest, I only want a Sigil stone again!!!

But, this opens up other possibilities. Think of how nice it would be to buy Unenchanted Nightingale Armor, or buy Vampire Royal armor! Or any unique faction armor/weapon/item! Some of the coolest items in skyrim are lacking that personal touch! I believe people worldwide playing skyrim on consoles that do not have the joy o mods or console commands to get their way would be jumping for joy if this was put into a patch! Myself included. I don't think it would take long to accomplish, nor is this request as audacious as some that are asking(some demanding) that Bethesda add an entire new province!

All I'm asking for is a way to buy/be issued another unique item that is lost. And to buy un-enchanted variants of the games best looking armors that are already stuck with somewhat useless enchantments.

I hope I get a few people to chime in and bump this thread, and (hopefully) get it stickied so the dev's will actually see this and have a chance to respond and consider it before it is buried amidst all the hundreds to posts this forum gets every day! Help me out here!

Bethesda! I've been a long time supporter of your work. And appreciate all the work you've put into skyrim. You have had an excellent track record in the past for listening to community suggestions for your games and DLC. I hope this could be one of those times, and you'd give me the peace of mind to die a happy man. ^.^ thanks again! BUMP THIS THREAD!!!!!!

I agree with the idea of being able to buy a lost item back, this has happened to me before, and I have deleted save games because of it. But buying unenchanted items I'm unsure on, it would take away the idea of them being unique. Welcome to the forums as well!

I know for a fact that a lot of people on these forums would strongly disagree with you. (But they would also want this incorporated into Skyrim - weird, isn't it?)
