Finding where the trailer and screenshots were taken...

One of the things I like to do when I'm bored and just want to mess around in Skyrim instead of seriously play the game is try to find where the many screenshots of the game were located.

Many of the screenshots released before the game itself was released are quite easy to tell where they were taken. Some are a bit harder, and some are virtually impossible because the background does not give that much information.

http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-place-Markarth01.jpg, though I remember how mystified many of us were (including myself) as to whether this was a city or a ruin.

http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-TownScene_wLegal.jpg is where this was taken. The old lady on the right there is Hilde.

http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-WalledCity_wLegal.jpg and http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-TownCastle_wLegal.jpg from the top of a roof.

Getting a little harder, but http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-WarriorFeast_wLegal.jpg features in this shot from inside Jorrvaskr. http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-WarriorHammer_wLegal.jpg.

http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-DunmerThief_wLegal.jpg, and http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-WomanHall_wLegal.jpg shows the Temple of Mara in Riften. http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-KhajiitArcher_wLegal.jpg and you can recreate this shot in the Temple of Talos in Windhelm.

http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-AbandonedFort_wLegal.jpg is Fort Snowhawk. I was able to find the exact spot where the screenshot was taken from, to the left of that same pine tree, facing the same Deathbell on a small island in the middle of the pond.

Anyone remember the busty blonde Nord in a http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-Tavern01_wLegal.jpg? So where was this taken? Compare that picture with http://uesp.net/wiki/File:SR-TavernKill01_wLegal.jpg - The bard in this shot looks like the guy at the left-hand counter in the first one. The big thing to note is the woman sweeping in both screenshots is exactly the same, and the position of the two baskets, the mead next to the small green Potion of Minor Stamina, and the two wooden bowls by the shelf. Both of these shots were taken in The Bannered Mare in Whiterun. I think the busty Nord is Hulda, but arguably she could be an early version of Saadia (since both wear the same clothing). The person sweeping in the background is probably Ysolda or Hulda. The bard in the second picture is Mikael, and he is possible the guy at the left hand counter in the first picture. Even between the two screenshots, you can see there are several clear changes made to the place - the left-hand counter is not there, the area rug was added as well as an unfortunate person getting his throat slit. Also, in the game you can see that much of the item placement is the same - the two baskets, the ale next to the Stamina potion... the shelf with Goat cheese and fly amantina mushrooms with the Mammoth tusk on top. No slaughterfish mount though.

What I want to know is where the trailer took place. The first gameplay trailer that shows the Dragonborn running through the forest and almost falling off of a cliff, then facing off with a dragon. It would be fun to retrace the steps of that trailer.

the Trailer setting I was always wondering where that was, But I assume it was only made for the Trailer as I haven't seen anything like it.
