Who should be the 3rd Blad member in my game?

Right now I have Mjoll the Lioness and Argis the Bulwark.

Now for sure there are many other good followers to choose from. But I am very stricted of whom I choose.

No Companions or Dawnguard, these members are fine where they are at and what they do. And dont want another female or Housecarl. No Orcs or Woodelves eather.

I would take in consideration of the Housecarl Greggor. But would rather have him watch my house grounds.

J'zargo is looking favorable since he is the only mage that has good armor stats. He would be damn perfect if it wasint for the fact that he only casts weak sparks spell. He has such a high level and HP and armor rating only for him to be the weakest follower when it comes to offense. Only if he would equip the damn Staves I give him.

How is Onmund as a Mage?

Kharjo and Vorstag look good..but...mercs for cash as members of the Elite Blades?? See what I want in my ranks? More like Mjoll. Not common warrior rabble.

I recruited Benor in Morthal because he's looking for work. He was very happy to join too. All you need to do is best him in a brawl. :tes:

Since the Blades use Heavy Armor, One-handed, Block and Archery, I try to recruit people who match these skills so they get the best protection out of their armor and the best damage out of their weapons. At various times and on various characters, I've recruited Kharjo, Golldir (complete his quest at Hillgrund's Tomb and he'll follow you for free), Uthgerd (despite her starting out with a 2-handed weapon, she's actually more skilled in 1-handed), Lydia, Iona (really, any of the housecarls will do), and Cosnach. Several of the Companions would do as well: Torvar, Ria and Athis all excel in these skills, despite their default armor being Light Armor.

With your restrictions: no more women, no Companions or Dawnguard, no hirelings or mercs, etc., I'd go with Golldir. He's at a loose end since you helped him complete his quest, and he's probably looking for a good cause to associate himself with.
