OCD

So, I think I've got (or am getting) OCD. So I thought I'd make a thread where we can all share our OCD habits.

Here's mine:

I have to have my phone in my right pocket and my wallet in my left, or nothing in either. I can't be unbalanced.
I have to put cutlery in the drying rack with spoons together, forks together, and knifes together in their own separate compartments . Knifes left, forks middle and spoons right. Recently I purchased a new draining rack and it only has two compartments for cutlery, which troubles me.
Plates on the drying rack must go from largest to smallest. When putting the plates away the blue ones always have to be below the cream ones.
When hanging clothes out, the pegs must be the same colour as each other per item of clothing, and preferably the same colour as the item of clothing being pegged.
When folding towels up to hang the labels cannot be visible.

So, share your OCDs :D.

I am the same way with the phone and wallet. Also, my money in my wallet ALWAYS has to be facing up and in order or else it bugs me to no end.

I sort of obsessively clean and polish my guitar.

I also always feed my pets at around seven in the morning.

I often wonder if anybody who claims to have OCD really understands what it is.

I think most don't.

I throw a raging fit whenever my stack of textbooks isn't 100% perfectly aligned.

When I play a game that involves player ragdolls in which you can move dead bodies e.g. Skyrim. I have to make sure when they're dead they aren't sitting on their own limbs or at a funny angle as to cause them pain, so I spend hours on end moving them until they're in a comfortable position.

Yeah I did google it a while back and discovered it's not actually OCD. Do they come under any other definitions?

I have OCD. I can't say it's really affecting my life very much, but it does make certain chores and seemingly simple tasks really stressfull and tiring.

Can't claim to know all the workings of OCD, but in games with lots of physics and such (Let's say FEAR), I will often Quicksave before an encounter with enemies, and I will Quickload and redo the encounter until I'm satisfied that it was as epic and badass as possible. I once spent an entire morning doing this.

This. People don't know what it means I suspect. Or they kinda do, but don't realize the true severity of actual OCD.
