Dynamic switcable graphics problem - Dell laptop

Hello friends.

I recently bought Dell Inspiron 15R SE 7520:
I5-3210M
AMD Radeon HD 7730M (2GB VRAM)
6GB RAM
1TB HDD
1366x768

This laptop uses a switchable graphics technology called "dynamic switchable graphics" which means that I am not able to choose between the Intel 4000 (integrated GPU) and the 7730M (discrete GPU) whenever I wish. For a weird reason I have to assign each application to work with one of the two cards. Well, I didn’t pay much attention until I installed Skyrim. Although I assigned Skyrim to run with the powerful card, the 7730M doesn’t appear in the Options. The only card available is Intel 4000. So I asked the Dell guys why is this happening and they told me not to worry because, once the game starts running, the 7730M will kick-in easily. My main problem is that the default option for my graphics is Low, which is frustrating as 7730M can run the game at least at High. Could you please tell me how to make the game recognize the other card? Is there such an option?

Thanks a lot.
