I just find it funny that Metal Gear Solid 4, rated 10 (or a 'Masterpiece' according to their rating system), doesn't even make the top 100. :tongue:

No Skyward Sword either, which was also a 'Masterpiece'. I don't think even IGN pays attention to their own site.

I'm quite surprised that GTA IV wasn't #1 on the list since IGN, along with countless other web sites, gave it a perfect score and endless amounts of praise. With all the recognition that game got, you'd think it was the greatest game ever created.

That's funny because I usually do the opposite (I [censored] about my least favorite games being put on these sorts of lists).

This list is even more stupid than the RPG one, I don't care if any of my favorite game's are there or not because it's IGN but modern game's is such a broad category, it's not even an official category,a modern game is basically any thing in the last 7 years. I would REALLY like to hear from them how they get their ranking criteria.

Think that list is older than 2012. Looks like it came out mid 2011.
