Who is your 5 favorite followers in Skyrim?

My Favorite Followers:
1) Iona[She protects me better than Lydia or any other follower]

2) Faendal[We've known each other since I first came to Riverwood]

3) Erik The Slayer[I've known Erik since I first came to Rorikstead]

4) Uthgerd the Unbroken[I've known Uthgerd since I first came to Whiterun]

5) Golldir[I've known Golldir since I've went to Hillgrund's Tomb]

for me its Vorstag good warrior and very positive

I think that a person's follower of choice will be influenced by how their character typically plays. A person who charges into the fray may have issues with Marcurio, for instance, because he uses spells like Lightning Storm that hit friendlies as well as foes. But an archer or mage might welcome him, because his spells do a pretty hefty amount of damage.

Adoring Fan, oh wait wrong game.

Serana is the only one that I'll use, although for the most part I go solo so that I don't have to split the treasure with anyone or worry about a betrayal.

hahaha, i remeber him, it would be funny if all of the sudden he shows up in skyrim through like a portal or is a vampire and is still alive (sort of)

From the followers I've adventured with so far:

1. Mjoll the Lioness. Do I even need to explain? She's just AWESOME.

2. Erandur. He's the one I've travelled the most with and had something interesting to say about any place we visited. Now unfortunately dead

3. Aela the Huntress. Ever since the Totems of Hircine, adventuring with her gives me this cool feeling of werewolf sisterhood. "We hunt together!"

4. Lydia. True, she's often more trouble than help, but she's been there for my character during those difficult low-level early days as the Dragonborn, and for that she deserves credit. Now retired at Breezehome.

5. Aranea Ienith. Cause a powerful mage who has your back is just what a warrior needs. Better than Illia since you can re-hire her.
