What I think Bethesda really needs to add

I agree sapphires story was very....shall we say, interesting? I don't know if I'd like to see more people with her story
Well we have Serana. Her story is somewhat like sapphires. In terms of what happened to her at least. Off-topic but why do you want Ysolda to die?

Not more of her story, more people with the depth of story she had

Push the words apart and read between the lines. There's some amazing depth in few short sentences for MANY, if not most, of the NPCs.

My problem with Sapphire is that while her backstory is better than most of the NPCs I've met it doesn't help that we can't do anything with her (like go on her own companion quest or ask her more about herself). There's nothing else to her past that backstory. She has some depth but not enough or a lot. In fact most of the TG members have an interesting backstory but it doesn't help that these characters add literally nothing to the TG's main plot and are regulated to background noise. Its a shame really: we could've had a full cast of fleshed out characters for the TG questline and gotten to bond with several TG members (that way we could feel more like we were in a guild) aside from Kharliah and Brynolf. I would've loved to go on a heist with Delvin for instance.

i agree, the charactors are all sort of the same, it needs more charactors that stand out, not to mention that the followers really dont give much about them, in fallout:new vegas (fallout 3 was better by the way) the charactors were all so unique, in skyrim theyre all the same. we need more psychopaths, idiots, druggies, army veterans, clowns, smurfs and everything beyond monocolored the rainbow.

That is exactly what I'm talking about, most of the TG questline focuses on the Nightengales, but then it leaves the fact that you're the guildmaster kinda worthless because you don't really know any of these people. The TG should be more like the companions, every one of them can be a follower, and(I think) every one of the can be married as well. You get to spend time with them, bond with them. The TG are just there for you to look at and exploit infinite arrows from the straw targets after pick pocketing.

I don't know. I killed Aela before, who is an essential. However I had to do it in Beast Form. It randomly triggered the kill cam.
