'Light' bows are quicker. but only slightly. for example a glass bow will have a faster draw than a daedric bow.

that bow is bugged so it wont work properly when you have quick draw perked.

It was either the long bow or the hunting bow I can't remember.

Yeah it is. The only bad thing is Longbows do not that much damage, its more like a TES machine :gun:

That stinks. I didn't try it, sold it as soon as I left the ruins.

They go off weight, but there is a minimum you can't get under to my understanding. The bound bow is suppose to have one of the quickest draw times, and it does more damage than the long bow... a lot more damage.

I've noticed the bound bow spell has a remarkable draw time. making the perk almost worthless considering it is of daedric damage and it is EXTREMELY useful even in stealth combat.

And to clarify... I meant that the lighter the bow the quicker the draw when I said they went off weight. The bound bow having 0 weight means that it gets the fastest draw time possible. The bound bow also has... infinite free arrows. :) The only downside is that is doesn't benefit from smithing. I like the more powerful bows because combined with smithing and sneak attacks you can kill most enemies in one hit. But in combat where there is an enemy running at you I could see the bound bow being the best.

*downside* being subjective. the absence of smithing could actually make it closer to 'balanced' as it cannot be absolutely uber. which is actually why i use bound bow, to remove the temptation of making it completely overpowered. even then yes a stealth archer can kill almost anything in 1-2 shots. also, only 100 arrows, to be spent in 2 minutes. might as well be infinite, most i've spent in that time is a little less than 30 arrows (to pull the target(s))
