ps3 patches

ok so ive been wanting to play skyrim for a while but i kno of all the problems on ps3, so i was i wondering with all the patches as of current, if i started a profile with all the patches installed should i be fine from the freezing, lag and crashes ? or at least like 90% of it ? and i'll be playing on a slim with like 80gb of free space if that matters.would like some advice

The initial release of the game was just plain crap. After 1.4 things got a lot better. And with 1.7 I've gone back to having a dip in frames, and some stuttering on occasion, nothing too annoying. If you're going to purchase it, then get it used for the price difference. If you already have it, I don't think it will cause your console to explode now. BTW I play on a Slim 160Gb PS3. With all that said, I really have enjoyed Skyrim, and it's worth playing, just don't expect a polished game.

Also I don't have a fishy stick, but someone will get you one. Welcome to the Forums!!

Thanks.question ive read up on the save game file size being an issue would that effect a new player with all the updates ?
