Vampire nastiness

I just had a very strange thought while playing Skyrim, My archer contracted the vampires disease from a master vampire in riften, and as i havent been a vampire yet, i thought id just let the disease ride out and see what happens. Its not catastrophic or anything, and actually helps in some respects, but i was thinking about the roleplay side of it.

I normally play good characters, and would never allow myself to be a vampire or a werewolf, but i had to become a werewolf to do the companions stuff on another toon, so that made me more open minded about trying vampire.

Thing is, i wont like the idea of feeding on 'innocents'. If i see a bandit sleeping while exploring, ill probably eat it just for the hell of it as even a vampire has to feed occasionally i assume, but will probabyl end up spending most of my time as a full vampire.

The strange thought tho, was with the addition of adoption, and the limit of 2 kids, could a vampire be a complete creep and 'adopt' children, feed on them while they are asleep, then adopt more etc and feed. I dont know if the 2 child limit is a hard limit, or a cap, or if you can even feed on kids and i cant bring myself to find out :S

is there anyone capable of being that evil in a fictional world to find out for me?

I believe that children can't be fed upon.

People don't die when you feed on them as a vampire (while they're asleep). I'd be very surprised if the game let you feed on children, though. That sort of thing is not generally accepted.

Edit: followers can be fed on easily, so I assume the same is true for spouses. You can tell a follower when to sleep, though, which is convenient.

You can feed on your spouse. Also, I'm getting a vibe that you don't know feeding =/= killing. Your spouse can give you all the blood you will ever need.

Basically every advlt NPC can be fed upon, while in sleep. They don't die, and I'm not sure if they can wake up during that. I've only played a vampire once and never had that happen. They just continue peacefully sleeping.
