Its a concept art of Iron SHORT and Long Swords. Now my question to you guys is why would Bethesda cut Shortswords out of Skyrim? They have been in the series since Arena. They offered the perfect balance between a dagger and a longsword. It just puzzles me why they would cut something that a lot of people like. I would just like to now what your thoughts and opinions on why Bethesda took shortswords out of the game.

it is much worse, that all of the armors out of the second row are not in the game

That is what I was thinking to. A lot of the armors in the concept art look friggin amazing and original and not the armors in Skyrim "derp my helmet has horns I'm a viking derp".

J'zargo wonders why people ask for shorter swords. Is it not the way a sword is used and not its size that matters?

I've never seen this piece of concept art before. I too feel like they should have included shortswords, I really did enjoy using them.

while I'm in agreement, with everything being 1h or 2h they might as well just give one Omni weapon and merge all the weapon skills into just blade at this point.
