A future expansion with multiplayer options is needed badly. I don't want an MMO, I just want the ability to play with 1-2 people online. Here's how it works. When you log in, it will replace companions with online friends up to 3 people (including yourself). The game could not handle any more than that anyway. You would have to replace companions with players and the content would scale depending on the number of players and their levels. Keep the game as it is though, I like Skyrim, I just would like to be able to play with 1 or 2 friends. Not the whole world. An expansion like this with more content like dawnguard would be awesome. I love this game!

It is not needed, nor is it wanted.
