I play on high graphics, which was autoselected today when I first installed Skyrim. However, when I look around, running around etc it doesn't really lag but somehow the environment doesn't really follow the camera, it's like hacking a bit (in other words, not following the camera smoothly) I think you got my point

My specs are:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 896mb
AMD Phenom II x4 955 (4cpus)
4GB RAM


It did get solved by lowering the graphics to LOW settings. But I rather fix it in another way since I want to play on High graphics which should run smoothly since that's what my PC had as standard setting

Yea i get the same thing at times on my quadcore 2.5 cpu with 2 gigs of ram and Radeon 5770 on a resolution of 1366x780 with Skyrim on high settings and shadows on medium. It comes and go even when lowering settings. Only thing i can suggest is rebooting your pc before starting a game of Skyrim to help keep things as clean as possible when it comes to background stuff possibly left over from other programs you may have recently used.
