I'm not excited for this game?

I don't know why but I can't get excited for the elder scrolls online. To be honest, I think it is because of the new Star Wars MMO. I waited for this game for years and was even selected for early beta access. But when the beta hit I couldn't even play due to horrible frame rate (I have a piece of crap e-machines computer).

I tend to stay to my xbox but even then, I've read in Game Informer about this game quite a bit and can't seem to get pumped or motivated to invest in a new computer to play it.

By all means, please try to turn me around.

But until then, I guess I have to stick it out until VI comes out. (or IV... Not to good with roman numerals).

The next TES game will be TES VI. TES IV was Oblivion.

Ultimately being interested in ESO or not really comes down to if you ever wanted to play a TES game with friends. This is finally the opportunity to do that, and while it may not be an exact replica of Skyrim, it certainly hopes to be a TES game in every single right that is possible.

The whole idea of being able to explore all the provinces of Tamriel (with faction restrictions understood) while being engrossed in a war of epic proportions being waged between three very different factions for the Imperial Throne is very compelling to me. It will inevitably come down to whether MMORPGs are something you are interested in or not.

If you have the opportunity, assuming your computer permits it, I would at least try to get into the beta and try the game that way. If you like it then perhaps you should try and invest into a new computer. If your PC can't even run the ESO beta, as you seemed to struggle with SWTOR open beta, then perhaps you should try a friend's.

I ran into the same issue... I had all the hype about SWTOR but it was a giant letdown... but you can't let 1 game dictate how you're going to feel about others... I see that ESO isn't rushing this game out the door like SWTOR did so that's a good thing, so I suspect that it will be better... you have to remember that there were people behind SWTOR that was pushing the release date even though the game wasn't ready to be released.
