Looking for online "friends"

Post » Thu Sep 20, 2012 3:40 pm

There are so many great co-operative focused games being released this generation, such as Dead Island and the newly released Borderlands 2 (or unreleased until Friday at the time of writing here in the UK), and I unfortunately have nobody to play them with. Whilst some of my friends enjoy video gaming, they do not utilise the platforms that I do and are also not frequent enough players to serve as my sole-partners throughout games such as Borderlands. I want to find some online "friends" to play some games with, such as Tekkit on the PC, Borderlands 2 on Xbox, and also some games on OnLive and Steam such as Terraria. If you are interested, mind replying to this thread with the following information?
  • What is your first name or nickname that your friends address you by?
  • How old are you?
  • What time-zone are you in?
  • What country are you from?
  • Do you have a legitimate copy (not pirated) of Terraria?
  • Do you have an Xbox Live Gold account?
  • Do you have an OnLive account?
  • Any specific games you are looking to play some co-op of?

No! I just want someone to play games with online, but of course I need to know whether you even have the games/services I use to play - obviously. Also, if you are in Australia or somewhere that is hours ahead of me, getting online to play could be awkward. Also, as I said I think in the OP, it'd be cool to play with some people similarly aged to me so it wouldn't be so awkward when talking down a headset.

i couldn't find a steady group in WoW.... perhaps because I use a [censored] 3000 ms satellite connection. At least I quit that game when my latency got so bad that I couldnt predict raid movements and such. Dodging fire trails with a huge delay takes concentration and a good sense of timing!
