(Xbox) Windhelm problems? Also shadows.

I am always so immersed in Skyrim I fail to notice the graphics etc. But recently I have been noticing shadows, they are extremely pixelated and blocky. It ruins it now every time I see a shadow. Then Windhelm, the ground is normal and the puddles are very pixelated and blocky. Then when you look into them you can see a giant square reflection like the thing you would see if you fell under the map. Besides from the very flat terrain in Windhelm, I find it hard to picture different things like rocks etc. They are all just grey pixels. A puddle and ground are very hard to notice. Anyone else have this or is it just me being picky?

I had it before I installed the game to my HDD. Since then, graphics seem to render more quickly with less clipping and pixelation. That's just from my experience, however.

Welcome to the forums. And to 360's graphics world.

I remember having those issues on PC, too (vanilla version). I had to install ENB to get hi-quality shadows, and the HD texture pack to partially improve Winhelm's textures a bit. But on the 360, you can't really do anything about it...

We have all these issues on PS3 too.

I think we are just seeing the effect of watching gorgeous youtube videos from PC captures and comparing to what our 7/8 year old consoles can do.

The only ones that really aggravate me are where the live lighting effects go over the shadows and you get the sinsuoidal light/dark wierd bands going over things.
