What will I need to run this?

As much as it pains me to ask this, what will I need to run this game at its max settings? I kind of hate PC gaming, and I swore I would never get into the whole PC MMO scene. Unfortunately, my love of TES outweighs my hatred of PC gaming, so what am I going to need to play it? This will be the only PC game I play, so its only going to have to run TES.

I've built computers in the past, so I would prefer to build it myself rather than buy one. I realize its rather early to be asking this, but I'm just so darned excited for the game.

I'm with you on PC gaming, I never really got into it, but im going to just for TESO. For now the requirements have not been relseased, but as far as I know they are trying to make it not so high as they want as many people as possible playing the game, but at the same time they want the graphics to be brilliant. We have to wait and see.

Im sure it will still take advantage of quad core processors and dual gfx card setups. The low end stuff is usually about how well the engine scales down to maintain framerate when you got 100+ players on screen.

The world looks fantastic and I am sure it will take more than my 3.2 ghz dual core and 1 gb video card to play with anything over med graphics setting. Expecialy in Cryodiil where framerate = survial in large battles.

It's safe to assume that if your pc can support Skyrim, you'll be able to support this.

Games that have stylized graphics. Like this one seems to have. Can be run on just about any computer that is like 2 years old or less. A cheap one can go under 400 dollars these days. For 150 bucks you can upgrade the power source and graphics cards to run pretty close to high. settings. So if you build one better than your average one at your local computer store you will be ahead of the game.

But if you want it on top settings.

It is supposedly going to launch some time next year. I would just save up my money. When they get about 6 months to launch their site should have suggested computer requirements. When that happens look at the top of the line requirements and build your computer based on that. Then you should be able to play on top settings.

Best advice here. Although I should add, support Skyrim meaning running it well.
