As you probably know, being a vampire halts you Regen, meaning you can die easily.

But if you wear some like the mage robes with magicka regen, it regens and you can cast healing whilst swingin a sword

Actually, I think that was intended. But its still very useful and a great idea to carry equipment with regen enchantments.
