just wondering when the updates are coming out like fighting on horse and if they got an exact date or time on dawnguard. It would be very helpful if u guys just post some info.

The update with mounted combat along with other fixes already arrived on the ps3, only in NA right now though.

In Europe there is no definite release for patch 1.6/1.7. In NA it is already out. As far as Dawnguard is concerned, there is no definitive answer if it will be released. A few weeks back they (Beth) posted about how Dg isn't playing nice on the PS3, so we may not get it

how do i fight mounted? or how do i know if i got the update.

When you load the game, on the main menu in the bottom left corner I believe it has the patch info. to fight on a horse get on the horse and draw your weapon/bow. (No magic Support)

Mounted combat should have been left out, along with horses. How long was red dead redemption out before this game? But Beth cant improve upon what they came up with ten years ago. So much water with rowboats everywhere yet i cant hop in one and use it. But at least its blurry if i go swimming so i cant really complain...

The patch already came out on PS3, but Dawnguard most likely wont even be released.

Dude! Being able to use a rowboat in this game would be awesome! Then get a working fishing pole, and a portable campsite, then a hunter RP would be complete!!!

I seriously doubt they'll never realease DG for PS3. Surely they wouldn't go THAT far?

Why would they throw away all of their work on it, and the faith of a lot of customers? Dawnguard will be out for PS3 eventually.

I suspect OP is in Europe. In which case he won't have the 1.06 patch as it failed testing. 3 weeks ago.
I do not believe with the base games coding failures on the PS3 the DLC can ever be made to work at all.

Though I do get the feeling that Bethesda stopped caring about ps3, I do think Dawnguard will be released for ps3. But I have a feeling that will take a year or so.

But it is better to wait a long time for a good game than a short time for crap.

Even if you waited a decade for dawngaurd it would still be unplayable crap. This line of thought makes no sense.

I'm given to understand Bethesda has announced on Twitter they will be launching the 1.7 patch in Europe on monday. Given the patch is more Dawnguard-prep than bug-fix, you've got to assume they intend to release the DLC... why would they put the effort into the patch if it were nothing but a smokescreen. If they were completely un-bothered with the PS3, they wouldn't bother. We have to assume the wheels are grinding slowly, but they are still grinding.

I just try to stay optimistic. And I guess Skyrim is nice without Dawnguard too.
I can understand it if Dawnguard simply does not work on ps3. Then there is nothing to do about it.
