Dear god, I just met a friendly hagraven. [Spoiler]

Post » Sun Sep 23, 2012 10:01 am

Creepy woman.
Stuck in a cage, released her.

Now we are going to kill her sister. I will get a pretty staff as reward. :D

Are you guys familiar with this? I never knew about it.

I found that place once and now I don't remember where it was. Can you tell me? Yes, I helped her too...wondering all the way if it was a mistake. :tes:

Blind Cliff Cave it is called. You'll find this Hagraven called Melka stuck in a cage. It is a nice starter quest for a shaman because the staff is quite powerfull and fits a shaman well.

I really like that dungeon, it is a nice surprise the first time you come across it. Friendly Hagravens are really hard to come by.

Me too! I knew there was a friendly hagraven somewhere but not where. Good to know, I'm taking my witch there eventually (she'll be very fascinated by hagravens once she met them, which she soon will, when she goes to retrieve Nettlebane).

I am really inspired to make a Shaman again.
And that staff will be my main weapon including a bound sword.

I don't remember what I did with her, I think we had a romantic evening before I left never to return.

Melka is simultaneously hilarious and creepy. There's something fascinating about following a person who makes you laugh as much as she makes you want to flee. She must be the femme fatale of Skyrim :)

Lol Sam gets the PC to have a romantic interlude with a Hagraven. Apparently Daedra Lords drink the good stuff xD

Yes. I also ran into her a while ago. Very nice surprise!

And he gave me her pretty staff after I helped with her sister.

She really is. I forgot how funny this one is. Now we're off to find Hjalti's sword. :tes:

There's actually 2 friendly Hagravens. The one you all are talking about...

Then there's Moira in Witchmist Grove.

Then there's Moira in Witchmist Grove.

She gets a bit cranky quite soon, though.

Yes, cranky...that's how I'd put it too. :D Hagravens don't seem to get along with each other at all. :tes:

I really enjoyed the quest this topic was made about. I too was wondering the whole time if I was making a mistake not killing her.

Really? I didn't know that. which I haven't stuck around to long I gathered feathers and took off. I know sometimes you can go back and different type of Mages will be there and she'll be gone!

Melka has some of the funniest lines in the game:

"Press only middle button. Clever trick, yes. Nobody ever thinks of the middle."

"Careful here. There's a trick to this. The trick is; to not bleed to death! Ah, there's a lever too."

Both of these make me laugh every time I replay that dungeon.

I wish there were more friendly Hagravens, Forsworn, Witch Covens, etc. It'd be nice if more "bad" people weren't generic enough to try and kill you the instant they see you.

Yeh. Those quotes are funny.. I also liked at the ending where she is like "Dead sister! I spit at you!" or something like that.
