and golden touch for that matter, is golden touch different from imperial luck?

Anyone on the PC with the CK offer any insight into this

lockpicking
Ah! ...Ha! I have never entertained that tree. It never dawned on me that those were part of Lockpicking. However, I thought them to be explained rather well in game and here....http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lockpicking

It's likely to be different; Imperial Luck increases gold by a marginal amount (5-10) while Golden Touch increases it by about 50%.

I'm betting that random gold is like FO3's version... there's a leveled item gold that's specifically tied to the ability or perk. One for each. They won't drop anything if you don't have the corresponding ability/perk but will give the appropriate amount if you have it.

They should. Acquiring the perks sets a global variable to 1, and about 95% of loot containers have leveled item spawn lists specifically for those perks. Thus, if the perk exists (If the player has the perk), they have a chance of spawning that extra loot.

Uh... well Golden touch gives you more gold and Treasure Hunter increases your chances of getting better loot. Basically the game's statistics for what is in a chest change probably based on your level and then with your perks.

*The higher the level the better the loot and then when you add the Treasure Hunter perk your chances are even greater of getting better loot. I would think if you're getting iron loot (level 1-10?) it would be like you're level 25 and you'd get like orcish and dwaven. And probably enchanted. And then your jewelery would go from getting silver rings to silver saphire rings. And your potions would go from minor healing to the +75 health ones(the healing ones not the 75 health for 1 minute).

*Now I'm just making up levels and loot but it's just to give you an idea of how it seemed to work for me. It has been awhile since I've used my character with this perk so I could be a little off...
