I'm surprise that they didn't patch the restoration loops. It's also my first time trying it out. I honestly just want to have a set of ring and necklace that get rid of mana costs so I could wear the complete Jester Clothes (Looks cute on my altmer mage  )

I had my stealth illusion mage at 65 yesterday. So, I decided to become a true GOD of mischieft  (also to try to get to 74 so I can get the Legendary achievement). Already perked at Smith, Enchanting, Illusion, Conjuration, Pickpocket, Sneak, and Archery. I was at 41 something for Alchemy and really low Destruction.

To get enough perks for Alchemy, I expressed leveling restoration (already at 75 for necromage vampire) by thralling a Bandit and cast Greater Undead on it. Max out rather quickly.

Destruction was a [censored] and a half to level. I had to run in circle casting runes on a Marauder (apparently Runes can level up Destruction quickly) WHILE having to heal him at the same time. Took literally like an hour just for that.

Alchemy was actually fun to level up. I already bought all the house (I also got a Hearthfire one) except the one in Windhelm, so I went to each house and gather all the ingredients in the alchemy rooms. I got a ton of money, so I went to every city and buy all the ingredients. Did a sweep through the camps for Giant's Toes (These can usually make 3,000 to 6,000 gold for ONE potion!).

Made a set of fortify alchemy gear at 29% each (due to vampire necromage). Alchemy level up rather quickly with Well Rested and Thief's Stone. I only had to do 3 store sweeps before I got to 100 and enough perks to fill the tree. Not exactly all of them, but only the one I needed; such as all 5 potion strength perks, stamina-mana potion perk, beneficial perk.

And after maxing out all magic schools and alchemy, which total at 4 hours, I only gain 5 levels!

So I did the loop. Only after 3 restoration potions, I was able to make a fortify enchanting potion with 6459% strength

So I use the potion to make a set of ring and necklace that has %13450 reduction for each of the 4 magic schools: Conjuration, Illusion, Alteration, and Restoration. So I went to put on the complete Jester Clothes and test it out...

Besides looking totally awesome, being massively overpowered (in the right way  ), can make the game... actually quite fun.

I vegetabled a Bandit, put the "Cheeze It" to another. Paralyze a bunch of Forsworn and make them barrel roll off the cliff. Stripped all the guards, make them fist fight each other; but I cheated by stealth-heal one of them and give him an axe; he ended up ran into a shop in Solitude and I never saw him come out  .

Everyone was running amok in the Solitude castle, fist fight each other while I throw carrots at them. Turned a couple guards into chickens, but one of them ended up turning into a Dremora and chased Jarl Whatsherface around the castle.

There was also a vampire advisor there and he threw fireball duel the steward until I rout the two of them out on the streets and both of them start throwing fireballs at the naked guards!

I can have so much fun with this set! I still had two houses I wanted to build, collect all the unique things in the game and put them on display. Haven't even started Companions, halfway through College's and Dawnguard (didn't completely explore the Vale). Most locations are still unexplored. :tes:

Anyway... just want to say the the restoration loops still works, but I think only if you actually invest in Alchemy.
