Bethesda PS3 DLC suggestion

Ok we are all aware of the ongoing problems with the PS3 DLC and the fact that Bethesda and Sony are trying to fix the issue. I for one do not think we will see Dawnguard on PS3 and this must be a massive public relations problem for Bethesda, well I have a suggestion for Bethesda.

If it comes to pass that Dawnguard cannot be made to work on the PS3, Bethesda should do something to compensate the PS3 customers. While I understand that getting the whole of Dawnguard to work may be impossible I am sure it is not impossible to release parts of Dawnguard as DLC.

As an example why not releease the Dragon Bone weapons as a free DLC download or the Crossbow. Another suggestion would be to release the Vampire character type and perk tree to give the PS3 players another choice. I am sure that this would not be beyond the technical capabilities of the Betheesda developers and it would go a long way to negating some of the ill will that has been generated amongst the PS3 community by the whole DLC debacle.

What do you think?

That seems reasonable.

They could also endeavor to ensure that we get Hearthfire, a smaller DLC, as soon as possible.

It's definitely better than nothing.

But I'd pay for crossbows and DB weapons. Not $20, of course, unless the rest of DG came with it. But a few clams, sure.
