[REQ] Coloured UI

Hello everyone.

After, like most of you, spending a large amount of time playing this game, i have, just as was the case with Oblivion, found that mods - lots of mods - are the only way to really make Skyrim a hugely immersive experience. At the moment there are mods for almost everything (- i would like to see Bravil remade, but lets keep that out of this thread). One thing i still haven't found, searching all mod sites, is a mod that enhances the interface visually in a more immersive, less mac-like, less streamlined, more personal way. One simple way to do this is a simple retexture; changing the half-transparent grayish style to a non-transparent wooden/stone/ texture. In short, i'm looking for a recolouring of the UI of Skyrim.

Although not entirely the same, since it wasn't transparent and didn't look like a macintosh product, the mods Darnified ui/DarkUi Darn, with their great retextures, made a very noticeable impact on how much people enjoyed playing the game. My point is that the interface plays an important role in this game and no matter how much we change npcs, gameplay mechanics, landscape and weapon visuals, etc. the same vanilla interface will be there, somewhat ruining the atmosphere of the game, and SkyUI isn't changing that (although it is a very good mod). To make myself clear; i'm not requesting an interface capability enhancing mod, but a visual one.

So, you get my point; i really hope that someone will take up this challenge and make said mod, as it will undoubtedly become very popular if done by talented modders - a kind of people that is far from uncommon in this game's community.

There's this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12625
You could send him a nice PM and direct him here http://www.github.com/mardoxx/skyrimui

Maybe he'd overhaul the whole UI, you never know.

The thing is, I think, almost everyone is content with the style of Skyrim's UI. It fits well with the, relatively, more modern setting of Skyrim and the snowy surroundings.Another thing is, not many people like using flash, and fewer can design well. Humbro8282 being the exception!
