Gamebreaking Draw Distance Issue

Post » Thu Sep 27, 2012 11:47 am

Im on a 100 hour, 12 MB Save, and the draw distance has gotten so bad, im getting stuck in landmass/ rock formations popping in right infront of my character.
The only way this doesn't happen is if I never sprint, and stop moving while everything pops in. Reinstalling only helps for about an hour. ( "patch" 1.7 is installed.) Also, there is nothing wrong with my ps3, of all my open world games, Skyrim is the only one with issues, at all.
Is there any way I could possibly fix this, without starting a new game?

Probably not. You are at the magic 12MB number, and that means your disc will probably blow up. It's not your machine. The game falls apart when the save files get to that size. Sooner for some people.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate but looks like you'll have to start again, and again and again and every other time you get to the 12mb mark witjh each character.

Fantastic, well, now I know to KEEP AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE to Bethesda's PS3 games, they're simply messed up.

I know how you guys feel, because there's a similar bug on the Xbox and it totally ruins the immersion for me too.
