After almost a year I am still addicted

Post » Fri Sep 28, 2012 7:07 am

Literally addicted. I just made a new character 2 days ago - a build I've never done before. Now I have hundreds of more hours of gaming. I haven't even done Dawnguard yet, ever.

How do you get over the addiction? I want to play almost every single day, and I end up staying up late to do so. Then I am tired at work. Anyone else stuck in this vicious cycle?

I'm still addicted too, playing almost every day. Only have completed 4 questlines though, but it's never boring.

You and me both OP. Still playing it daily. Even when we plugged the N64 back in to get some old school Mario Kart tournaments going I still plugged the 360 back in to get my Skyrim fix haha.

Add two small kids and a husband who's away a lot due to work, and you'll get an equation that doesn't add up.

No, seriously, I play less now than a few months ago. I suddenly realized I have so many other things I want to do as well. But playing Skyrim has so far remained my favorite pastime.

I still haven't even completed the main quest on any of my characters.

I'm the same OP. Seriously addicted. Just put my first perk into the Vampire Lord after defeating a frost dragon with it. I'm doing a DG + DB + MQ + CW playthru as a Breton necromancer - should give me about 250 hours of wholesome slaughter.

I still like playing, but it doesn't excite me as much as it used to in the beginning. By now I think I've visited at least 90% of all locations, have done all major questlines, have been Thane of all holds, yadayada. I still like to play every now and then, but I'm getting a bit burned out on Skyrim by now. Luckily there's Borderlands 2 now.

This, I still like Skyrim but not as much as my 1st time through.

I find it to be great mindless entertainment you can lose yourself in for a few hours and not think about anything else. That keeps me playing. But then I start thinking about how mindless it is and how much better it could be and that bugs me. So I come on here and moan about it.

Standard are too high.

I started playing with roleplaying restrictions and it became one of the most fun games I've ever played.
