Defining moments in your life

What moments make you change a bit?
my sisters death is one
and another is when i was 14 i had my snes and i played it a lot, my friend had one too,he stole mario and a controller
for 2 years he didnt return it and it made me go from trusting everyone to only a few people, i mean yeah it was just a game and controller
but he was one of my closest friends and he became a full blown tool about it and by that, i mean its 9 years later and he is still insulting me
what about you?

Discovering music changed my life totally. I hadn't realised there were so much amazing out there, so my mind was blown.

Otherwise there aren't really any very important ones. I've had loved ones die and stuff, but I've always been able to move on.
You stay strong, Silver.

For this topic I automatically think of decisions I made rather than things that happened to me... I am lucky I guess. Deciding to try to move to France and deciding to learn Japanese both changed the whole path of my life.

Death. (Close Cousin)
Death again. (Step Dad)
Death again. (Grandpa)
Death again. (Uncle)
Shellshocked.
Grieved.
Hold family remnants together.
Help ease others pain. (Mom, Brothers, Sister, other family)
Stress.
Stress more.
Became stronger.
Gained more determination.
Death(good friend-->suicide)
Grieved.
Stress and raged.
Depression.
Fought out of it.
Gained a stronger will.
Living and still grieving.

Something like that. Call it my Macabre Forge. It made me who I am. That is all.

Watch a man hang himself. this was 2-3 years. I've got a bad dream after that.

Discovering certain media and ideologies that helped me become who I am right now. Those are very insignificant things compared to the rest of this thread.
I've never had any loved ones die or anything like that. Family, yes, but no loved ones.
