Confirmed ESO Business Model?

Post » Sun Sep 30, 2012 10:50 pm

Earlier today, the job listings page for ZeniMax Media Inc. featured a posting seeking an “Accounting/Finance Manager” to join the ZeniMax Online team at their headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD. The position description was given as someone who has "Expierence with subscription-based revenue streams." Is this a confirmation of ESO being on a P2P model? While it's a nice find, I wouldn't read too much into it. Keep in mind when referring to experience with subscription-based revenue streams, it mentions it as being a nice bonus for the application and not a necessity. I never doubted for a second that this game would be anything but P2P and I still believe that is the case. This certainly can make that claim more stronger, but it's still not an official confirmation and won't be until ZOS establishes that.

True enough, but it's still a pretty positive piece of information, in my view. The last thing we need is another F2P game that attracts the worst elements of the internet simply because they don't have to pay for it.
