Arkham City Investigation

As I'm sure many of you know, Rocksteady likes to put many secrets in its video games. In Arkham Asylum, there was a secret room that nobody ever discovered until the developers revealed its existence. This room provided much information regarding what Arkham Asylum's sequel would contain, via concept art and in-game documents.

Playing through Arkham City for the fourth/fifth time now, I have been keeping my eyes peeled for anything that can so much as provide a hint as to what the third game will be. I am already aware of the Scarecrow Boat, as well as the prophecy that the messenger provides Batman... but I think there is more. I know there is more.

As you fly through the city, you can see several black crows on the rooftops that soar away when you get near them. I am uncertain as to whether they are hints to the Scarecrow Boat, aesthetics, or are possibly hinting that the player is near a secret area. Furthermore, when you use the zoom future and look closely at the details of environments, you can often pick up bits of information. In the sewers, Killer Croc has a little den with a picture of himself in it.

So, I pose a challenge to you all. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to explore Arkham City for any undiscovered clues toward what may be in the next game. If you find anything interesting that is either not very well known, or not known at all, record the findings on this topic. Screenshots are always nice!

This is a very low-chance theory, but in Arkham Asylum, the secret room was located in Warden Sharp's office. Sharp's office contained a tiny vault, so I recommend looking through any buildings that have one in Arkham City (GCPD and the Courthouse are the ones that come to mind for me,) and seeing if you can find anything peculiar. I also have yet to look through the top of Wonder Tower, which is where the closest thing to Hugo Strange's office would be in this game.

Finally: I think Calendar Man may possibly have a hint to hide. How to get that hint is beyond me. Set your console/PC to the year that Rocksteady expects the game to be ready maybe? A certain holiday? I am unsure.

I would like to state that I do not have the Harley Quinn's Revenge DLC, so if someone whom does wants to investigate through it, by all means please do so.

No matter what, have a good time with this investigation. I look forward to seeing what we discover!
