Warehouse 13; anyone following the show?

Post » Wed Oct 03, 2012 1:47 pm

Does anyone else watch this show? It is, I guess, sort of a merging of the Mulder and Scully X-Files and Friday the 13th the series [the one with the cursed antiques]. The show does have some wonderful moments, and isn't above an Easter egg or several for the geeks/nerds among the audience. The mid-season finale was on Syfy last night. And I am really hoping the story isn't going to go down the 'H.G. as villain" road again.

Haven't seen yesterday's episode because baseball or some crap was on.

I didn't like the first season as much or was it the second

Thought of it as more like The Lost Room.

This season is way too predictable.

I've been watching it with my son. I have to say that seeing both Data and Odo in the same episode was pure nerd bliss. :hehe:

I just finished the mid-season finale (I hate those) I don't see HG being the villain again.

Spoiler
Though wether they kill off Artie or just the "Evil Artie" is still up in the air. It would seem simple enough to stop this new plague though, all they have to do is bad the rest of the flower like the agents of Warehouse 8 did. I know it won't be that simple but it should be.

If you get a chance, watch the episode titled "Don't hate the player". It involves a cameo by Fargo from Eureka; seems a videogame he wrote went a little out of control, and he and two other people are trapped in the vr game world. Pay close attention to the music. Not only do they have a lot of fun with game stereotypes, but they even dug up Captain Kirk's "fight to the death" scene music.

Does anyone else watch this show?

I get it erratically on BBCA, and I really dig that "Saturday Serial" feel the show comes off with; cheesy soapish drama, cheesy soapish intrigue, cheesy soapish cliffhangers, with a strong sci-fi flavor.

... and Friday the 13th the series [the one with the cursed antiques].

Man, I miss that show. Had such a tween crush on, Micki.
