What happens when you beat the game?

Post » Wed Oct 03, 2012 8:58 pm

I have a feeling im going to love this game. Usually when i beat a game with free roam acess (i know its not a complete open world but has open levels) and when i beat a game i like to go back to previous levels or areas and explore around a bit wether or not im re playing the mission or just being able to explore. But i have also played games where once you beat it...its over, you dont get to re play missions, or explore anymore, the best you can do is re load your last save which can be frustrating.

so does anyone know how this game will work once its been beat?

EDIT: thought of another question that i posted at the bottom but am adding it up here just in case people dont see.

is everyone in a level going to be hostile? meaning like...are there citizens who will ignore you or will everyone yell out at you and alert the guards

Well, I know there isn't a new game plus option. So, really, you just start over and try to play the game from a different angle. Now, consider that not everything will remain the same as before (i.e. randomly generated bone charms). Plus, you can try tackling the missions differently.

Who knows though? I think above all, you'll just have to wait and see how well you enjoy playing the game the first time. That usually depicts how much replay value the game holds for you. :)

It does let you go back and replay missions.

Once you beat a level it is unlocked in the "Replay Mission" option on the menu screen. You can't however replay all the missions with everything unlocked because it loads the missions with whatever you owned at that point in your first playthrough.

How will replay missions work with the skills and actions? They said that certain parts of the game are affected by the way you play, and how will you choose your skills and bone charms?

[EDIT]

Nevermind.

Depends. Royalty will of coarse alert the guards, but prisoners you freed will sometimes help you by telling locations of hidden stashes or the code to a safe.
And when you play as a murdering machine, people are less likely to help. But when you kill few to none, citizens are a lot nicer.

yeah Gamespot gave it as low as 4.5/10.
Most of it goes to the many quick events in a larger number than all Uncharted games combined lol
I didn't see it coming that it would be THIS bad!

There are at least one mission where you go undercover and can talk to people unless you give them a reason to attack you. Various gameplay videos have also shown commoners in the city to be non hostile (that is, commoners who are not infected by the plauge). There are also people in the missions you can get sidequests from, so I'm fairly possitive they will be non hostile towards you :)

Such a low score, can it really be that bad? idk, I'll have to try the game for myself and see. But I'm playing Dishonored first.

Dishonored score will obliterate that to space. But once you beat it you play it again obviously.
