I tend to unplug my Xbox at least once a day. I have it plugged into the wall directly. No power surge. Is it bad to continuously plug and unplug it? I unplug it every night before sleep and before work as well.

? I have mine in a surge protector and I turn it off every night and have not had any problems.

Just wondering if it's bad for the power supply/brick to continuously do it.

I've been pulling the plug on mine whenever I stop using it for years, my first first Xbox got the red ring after about two years, so I had it replaced for free about two years ago, still no problems.

As long as you're not unplugging it while the Xbox is running, you should be fine. Rather than unplugging the wall socket, I usually just unplug that middle plug that fits into the power brick.
