Xbox live today

Has anyone been experiencing weird things going on with xbox today? Like it disconnecting you from xbox live and their site won't load properly it keeps telling me I have found a glitch in the system.

Yh me and friends have been disconnecting and couldn't reconnect, also the party/game invites seem to be taking ages to do or crash our xboxs?

I wouldn't know myself, as my xbox isn't currently connected to the internet, but the website has a service alert up, http://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status confirming that there is a problem with it today.

Thanks for posting that I couldn't even get to their site without experiencing a problem

No problem. I always look on there if my xbox live seems to be having a problem, just to make sure that it isn't just my console doing it.

It's happend to me a couple of times---it's annoying but there's nothing I can do about it.
