Will this game be as difficult as Deus Ex HR with the boss fights?

There wont be any bossfights, so no.

The question is, if there will be any boss fights, which I vote a big "no" to.
It might have, who knows, but it really doesn't look like there will be any bosses that have a ton of health, which would derive from the game, as every thug, officer, elite officer and Overseers easily are killed with a good windblast or a good bladestrike or assassination.

They've confirmed that there are no boss fights.

I have to admit, this game has all the qualities that are perfect for a no death ruleset

I personally find bossfights to be out-of-place in games like this. They suit arcade-style or traditional games, but not games like Dishonored.

DEHR's boss fights were piece of cake.. i will never understand the fuss made about them

well, if you face Barrett with only a tranq rifle and a pistol, you're gonna have a bad time.

Nah he's still kinda easy even with just that. I mean there's gas canisters, fire extinguishers and explosive barrels all over the place. Using just those you can kill, he wont be able to make a move at all. You can also kill him with only concussion nades + pistol.

It's manageble, but stil difficult and time consuming.
