What do you think happened after Skyrim?

Post » Sun Oct 07, 2012 8:20 am

You've completed the main story, completed all quests and tasks, and you have united Skyrim. What now? what do you think happened to the world of Tamriel and your character? Did your character travel to another part of the world or did he stay behind and continued making Skyrim a better place? It may be a hard question but what do you think, it doesn't have to be realistic, it could be what you'd WANT to happen after Skyrim. so, what do you think? Also, no comments like "omg youre so dumb that wold neva happen u svck!!111!!"

Not sure, but it would seem like your character would become the ruler of skyrim. I think that would be a good route to take it.

I had the same idea, I'd like to think my character challenged Ulfric from throne and then became high king himself, maybe even going so far to gather the other races in an alliance against the thalmor.

There is still the Thalmor threat to deal with...the war is not over.

Well he does have dragon blood...does that not make him a part of the Septim line and therefor hier to the Emperor's throne ?

Fairly certain
Spoiler
the Septim lineage died out with Martin Septim as Emperor Titus Mede I only became emperor after taking the imperial city by force

My character?

The Khajiiti Archmage will stay in Winterhold until there's a full-blown war against the Aldmeri Dominion, at which point he'll go throw some fireballs at those arrogant Altmer.

My Bosmer will attempt to restore Dark Brotherhood branches in other provinces - then she'll find someone to replace her and go to Valenwood to take back her home, be it with thu'um or a carefully placed dagger.

My Breton is really a Forsworn and she took revenge on Ulfric by chopping his head off; but during her travels she learned to accept Nords for who they are, even if they treat her people as wild animals. She even found true love in the most unlikely of places. I think she'll stay with the Companions for the time being. Would she attempt to become the High Queen? Maybe, some day. She doesn't feel quite nordic yet, but it would be interesting to see a Forsworn on the throne of Skyrim.

Yes, but the Thalmor isn't really Skyrim's fight.

Don't know why people keep thinking that it is... the game rarely forces you to interact with the Thalmor, and their presence is extremly limited in Skyrim, one Embassy, base for interrogation, a few "advisors" and some patrols in all of Skyrim. No armies, no Thalmor-controlled forts, etc.

@Rosveen, that's a pretty nice story, this is why I love the TES universe, it's so easy to think of what could have happened and what should have happened. It'd be easy to write a hundred books on the Elder Scrolls universe alone
