Got Carpal Tunnel Syndrom

My doctor diagnosed CTS in both my wrists (yay 10+ years of gaming!). I had no idea what the problem was at first - just throbbing aching pain intermittently from my biceps to the palms of my hands (but not really my wrist joints). Now I'm struggling to get used to those damned uncomfortable wrist braces and scrutinize every aspect of my posture, computer desk, chair, mouse, etc... Its pretty miserable. I figured it would be worse in my right hand (mouse hand), but its more painful in my left arm. All those years of WASD! Have any of you suffered from this? Any tips? I found these http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=hUyMNyrOHJQ#! a drummer posted on Youtube. Hopefully they'll help relieve it. Its a drag - my favorite hobby is gaming and now I'm faced with the possibility of greatly reducing it. I'm wondering if an XBOX controller might help (being its set up quite a bit differently from my keyboard (and the repetitive strain its apparently causing).

I have tendinosis.

Excercises help, getting a good chair helps, especially one with arm rests (helps maintaing better posture) get one of those attachable swivel things for a keyboard and mouse if your desk isn't at the proper level already.
