Patch 1.7(North America) for the Playstation 3 or stay with 1.6...does 1.7 make the game worse ?
Reading about the 1.7(Europe) patch I am seeing good and bad.

My experience with 1.7 was a mixed bag. My most recent save was inside a location that the patch apparently hated me for saving in and every time I tried to leave after installing the patch, I would be greeted with an infinite loading screen. I tried deleting and re-installing both the game data and the patch, but to no avail. I tried reloading into a previous save that was outside, and everything seemed to work fine then. No more infinite loading screens. After getting past all the bugs, however, the game ran pretty much the same for me as it had on 1.6, but with the added bonus of removed atomic nirnroot. If you do decide to install it, make sure you have several saves in case you have saved in a location that the patch doesn't like so it won't spontaneously combust for you too.
