What about DLC?

I was wondering if you think we'll see any DLC in dishonored's future? I was hoping they'd eventually release new levels/locations to play. With dishonored being a single-player experience I would assume they would do something like that, despite being replayable to a certain extent.

Well IF they release DLC's, they have to be done well and pack a punch. It should be either extra levels that give more depth to the story and seem as part of the maingame, and not as much an expansion or a little visit to one of the other isles besides Dunwall. All else would just be flunky for me, but hey it's Arkane, they've NEVER let me down once!

They have talked about the prospect of focusing on different aspects of the Dishonored world seen through a different character in the loosest of terms. I don't have the article links handy but Julien Roby mentioned something along these lines somewhere and Harvey might have too.

I bet that approach will be used for additional titles in this series, and figure that's why they've left a lot of the backstory of the game world so vague / open-ended. I hope (and am betting, with reviews this glowing) we'll be seeing additional titles and DLC in the future.

I am waging everything I own we won't be seeing "several titles" in the future.
Dark Messiah AND Arx Fatalis both had a great open universe with alot unexplored, they never created new titles within those universes.
Smith and Colantonio both seem from what they've said, that they like to create a game with a huge echoing universe and leave it at that

I'm with Armatic on this one, but my reasons why might align with things in the game that I honestly don't know about and I don't want to risk potential spoilers now that the game is circulating.

If there's DLC news to share, it'll come at a later date. Right now we're just excited that everyone can play and enjoy the game
