Is it just me or does it have the atmosphere of Bioshock, movement of mirrors edge, and the fighting style like Assassin's Creed?

It's very much alot like bioshock and mirrors edge as for the fighting style I find it very diffrent, I love it though.

Good first impression but I think some people might get the wrong idea about the game. Diddn't watch the whole thing cause of spoilers so you might have mentioned it in the video, if so, sorry

Also, the way you play you will end up meeting a lot of rats later in the game

It's funny that he mentioned Half-Life because the Half-Life art director is the art director for Dishonored. This ensures a very unique setting and he has surprised us once again with extreme environmental interaction and mobility. I agree with your first two statements but it is not like assassins creed because in Dishonored you can chose to kill literally everybody or nobody. Hope this answers your question

Yes, the first hour (or however long it takes for you to complete the intro) generally just introduces you to the game mechanics and lets you get a feel for the controls, other missions are much more sandbox than linear.
