This game is truly amazing and probably gonna be one of my favorites for the year next to Assassins Creed 3 and Mark of The Ninja on Xbox Live. The game is great as far as choices and how I would like to achieve an objective but the one flaw that makes me wanna pop my Metal Gear Solid series back in my PS3 is...there's no New Game+. I, and I know millions of gamers around the world would love to go back through the levels from the beginning with everything they unlocked and play the game like a true bad ass. It almost feels like you got a choke collar on us with those wind up leashes. You only let us go so far and then...it stops. Mark of The Ninja did it right by incorporating a New Game+ to where you can go back from the start and play with everything you unlocked. Hell after I got everything on there I really started going for higher and higher scores because I didn't have to stress out over whether I had enough to unlock this ability or that. I know I speak for majority of the gaming populace when I say...in the next update or patch include a New Game+

The devs have very clearly stated their reasoning why they left new game + out.

The game is designed around choice. If you have the capability to have everything then a large chunk of that choice is gone. On each playthough you are incapable of getting all the upgrades. That is the entire point of the design. You are limited in what you have available and therefore have to make your way through the level in your own way using what you have. New game + works against that because once you have everything then you don't have to figure out how to work through the limitations. Your character is not meant to be perfect. He is meant to have strengths and weaknesses that force you to have to figure your way through the missions despite those weaknesses.

Its like a puzzle. You have a certain batch of pieces that can solve the puzzle and you have to think to sort out how to accomplish the puzzle with what you have. If however you have all the pieces then there is no more challenge to it. You have so many options that its just straightforward.

Once you have everything it is no matter a case of figuring your way because you always have a way to get around every obstacle without ever needing to figure out a way around. It would be like taking a puzzle game and adding an option to play through where you can skip all the puzzles.

New game + goes against the entire design style of the game and should never be added in.
